A leading supplier to the transportation industry has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer. Must be able to perform, as an individual or interactive member of a design team, engineering activities in support of design/development of door systems for rail passenger cars; prepare drawings, material specifications, bill of materials, and change documentation; use computer aided design tools to develop product designs, knowledge of Pro E required

Profile :

Requires BS in mechanical engineering with 5+ years exp, PE a plus. Qualified person will participate in design and quality improvement activities relating to the product to meet customer requirements; plan routine tests of products, evaluate tests; communicate with customers; support manufacturing requests for design and modifications.
